Kansas Standards Curriculum

Welcome Part I:
This will be the eventual home for a new initiative I am calling the Kansas Standards Curriculum. This project is in its infancy, and in fact, was started at http://kansasstandardscurriculum.wikispaces.com/. Rather than continue to develop the template there, I am moving the work to this site. For now, I will be copy-and-pasting what I have done. Over the next year, I hope to have something substantial to offer the world.

Welcome to the Kansas Standards Curriculum Wiki. This wiki is home for a new and exciting initiative! Here, teachers from across the state of Kansas work together to create a standards-based curriculum designed specifically for Kansas students. No longer will we be held hostage by for-profit textbook companies who do not (and cannot) cater to our specific demands.

Have you ever wanted a start to finish curriculum tailor made for our standards? Now, with the power of every Kansas teacher at every grade level in every content banding together, we can create, add, and edit a fluid document usable by our members. Kansas teachers will now be able to access lessons, exercises, worksheets, assessments, and solutions for every student! In time, we will have a complete curriculum designed by Kansas teachers for Kansas teachers.
